Dark Dojo Studios - Official Development Roadmap
Game Title: The Fixers
Studio: Dark Dojo Studios
Founder: Taco Hagasaki
Established: 2018
Studio Origins
Dark Dojo Studios was founded in 2018 by Taco Hagasaki with the mission of building bold and immersive multiplayer experiences. The studio’s flagship project began as Infrared, a prototype that would later evolve into The Fixers.
During its early development, a small team of creators including programmers, artists, designers, and sound engineers came together to help build the initial foundation of the project.
In 2020, development was halted due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, and the studio also faced the tragic loss of one of its senior programmers during that time. Despite these setbacks, community support kept the vision alive.
Development resumed in 2024 with renewed focus. In 2025, the project briefly expanded through collaboration with a technical developer who helped advance core systems. Due to the current conflict affecting his region, development has since returned to being led solo by the studio’s founder.
Today, The Fixers continues to be actively developed by Dark Dojo Studios as an independent project, driven by the goal of creating a unique cyberpunk mercenary experience set in the world of Maverick City.
